His early career was marked by over 15 years of service at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, renowned as the country's top orthopedic hospital.

Throughout his tenure at the hospital, Lazar's expertise and dedication did not go unnoticed. He earned the distinction of being the top performing Radiologic Technologist for four consecutive years, a testament to his exceptional skill and work ethic. But his contributions extended beyond his immediate professional duties. Lazar also took on the role of mentor and educator, tutoring numerous students who later became successful Radiologic Technologists themselves.

In 2020, Lazar took a significant step to further contribute to his field by founding RadTechCredits. This initiative stemmed from his desire to give back to the radiologic community by making continuing education more accessible and affordable. He recognized the financial burden often associated with Continuing Education (CE) courses and sought to alleviate it. RadTechCredits was thus established to provide CE Credit Courses at costs far lower than the market average, often four to five times cheaper than what Lazar himself had paid in the past.

Lazar's passion for education, lowering costs, and enhancing the experience for his colleagues has been the driving force behind his venture. He harbors a visionary goal: to eventually offer CE credits free of charge to all Technologists. But his ambition doesn't stop there. Lazar aims to expand his company's offerings to include X-Ray Markers and educational materials for students, ensuring they are of the highest quality yet remain financially accessible.
